Best Bottomless Brunches in Miami

If it’s a Saturday or Sunday in Miami, your plans probably include brunch. Brunch has become such a staple in Miami culture that nearly every restaurant offers some kind of weekend deal, making it kind of overwhelming trying to decide where to go. To help narrow down the options, here are my favs.

American Social

This is probably one of the most scenic brunch spots in all of Miami. Located in Brickell right on the Miami river, you have views of the water and the downtown. AmSo’s brunch menu includes steak and eggs, the AmSo brunch burger, and one of my go-to’s, the Brunch B.L.A.T., made with fried chicken, avocado, a sunny side up egg, jalapeño, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion and honey aioli on a brioche bun. Bottomless mimosas are $25 and they have other brunch cocktails like the AmSo Bloody Mary, sangria, and frosé. They do have a two-hour time limit on the bottomless mimosas, but they’re usually pretty lenient about it.

Batch

If you’re looking to combine Sunday brunch with NFL game day, Batch is the place to be. Their multiple large-screen TVs show games from all around the country, which is perfect if you’re not from Florida and your team isn’t played on the local Miami stations. If you’re not a football fan, definitely request a table outside.

Batch goes beyond the traditional bottomless options, offering bellinis and red and white sangria in addition to mimosas. While I usually opt for a mimosa when given a number of choices, here I go for one of the sangrias. Both the red and the white sangrias are served over ice, making them a much more refreshing brunch beverage in the Miami heat. The only downside to brunching here is they have a 90-minute time limit on the bottomless drinks and they are actually keeping track of time. In my experience, they tend to slow down the drink service once the food comes out, so don’t be shy to ask for another round every time the server comes to the table.

Bulla Gastrobar

This has been my go-to brunch spot since I first discovered this amazing restaurant in 2018. Originally, I went there for dinner, and then went back three days later for Sunday brunch because the food was that good. There are essentially no bad choices as far as food goes. Whenever I’m hungover, cheese is basically the only thing that can cure me, so I go with the Bulla Burger when I’m in bad shape. The entire patty is dripping with melted tetilla cheese.

The Spanish restaurant is most known, among other things, for its Huevos Bulla, which, not to sound dramatic, changed my life when I first had it. Eggs, Serrano ham, homemade potato chips, potato foam and truffle oil are all thrown into a skillet-like bowl. With your permission, the server will toss it all for you at the table so you can get a bite of everything in each forkful. Also, it’s not on the brunch menu, but you HAVE to get an order of their croquetas, which come with a side of fig jelly.

Their bottomless options are also next level and stray from the typical mimosa and Bloody Mary situation. While they do include mimosas as part of the bottomless deal, they also offer sangria. And not just your typical sangria, they make three different types. The classic red wine sangria and a white sangria made with cava (sparkling Spanish wine), peach schnapps, triple sec, blueberries and strawberries. But my personal favorite is the beer sangria. It sounds odd, but don’t knock it till you try it. It’s not made with wine, so you’re not mixing beer and wine if that’s what you were thinking. The beer they use is La Rubia, which is a light, citrusy beer brewed locally in Wynwood. To enhance the fruitiness, they load it with orange slices, lemon juice and pear puree, and garnish it with mint leaves.

Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar

Crema serves breakfast “all day, everyday” so you don’t have to worry about waking up early to make it in time for brunch. My absolute favorite item on the menu is the open face breakfast sandwich, made with fried eggs, bacon, Swiss cheese, ham, and aioli on brioche bread. Other notable mentions are the avocado toast and the chocolate chip pancakes.

On Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., bottomless mimosas are just $19 and they use freshly squeezed orange juice, which makes the world of a difference. Crema is slowly but surely taking over the 305, so no matter where you live, there is — or there will be — a Crema near you.

Copper 29

I love this place for all the different types of drinks that are included with their bottomless brunch. On Saturdays and Sundays, you can get bottomless mimosas, Bloody Marys, champagne, Pinot Grigio, Merlot and mojitos. And yes, you can switch between all of them – not that I recommend it, that would be a mean hangover.

They have all the classic brunch foods, from buttermilk pancakes to steak and eggs to eggs benedict. Opt for the tuna tartare or Croque Monsieur if you’re feeling fancy. Like any proper Miami brunch spot, it has the trendy interior decor for all of your Instagram needs. Plant wall? Check. Sign of the restaurant’s name in lights? Check. Painting of Brad Pitt dressed as an army general? Check.

Eating House

Although Eating House is currently closed, I’m going to include them because they’re reopening next year on Giralda Avenue in Coral Gables and they’re known for one of the best brunches in Miami. Though Chef Giorgio Rapicavoli promises to elevate the menu to more than “stoner food,” some fan favorites will remain, like the Cap’n Crunch pancakes. The popular breakfast item comes with three pancakes topped with Cap’n Crunch cereal and are drizzled with a condensed milk syrup. If it stays on the menu, the braised pork calentado is a must. Sunny side up eggs are served over braised pork and congri (rice and black beans), with a side of chimichurri sauce for an extra burst of flavor. Don’t forget the side of tater tots.

Glass & Vine

Glass & Vine has so many yummy dishes on their brunch menu, I don’t think it’s ever taken me longer to pick an entree. Eventually I decided on the crab cake benedict. It’s one of their more popular dishes for a reason. Other than the crab being fresh and delicious and the eggs poached to perfection, the side of breakfast potatoes is to die for. I also got a side of ham croquetas (duh).

If you’re more of a sweet than savory breakfast person, the Coquito french toast is for you. Soaked in coconut milk and topped with cinnamon and vanilla maple syrup, this dish came highly recommended from the waitress. If you’re looking for an appetizer to share, look no further than the watermelon salad. It’s really more like a fruit salad because there’s no lettuce. Chunks of watermelon are drizzled with lime crema, cotija cheese, cilantro and jalapeño. So yummy.

Sadly, they don’t offer bottomless cocktails, but they have a great menu of drinks: Bloody Mary, mimosa, sangria, watermelon mojito, Moscow mule and Aperol spritz. You can order by the glass or the pitcher. Hint: get a pitcher. They range from $35 – $45, are perfect for splitting and contain about six drinks in each. On a brutal Miami summer afternoon, we went with the chilled and refreshing Sauvignon Blanc sangria. The decor is also very Miami-esque and trendy with a lot of outdoor seating lit by string lights across the patio.

GreenStreet Cafe

I love this place so much that I will include it as a best brunch even though it doesn’t offer bottomless drinks. Of course it still has breakfast cocktails, but once you see the bottom of your glass, don’t expect a free refill. I really come here for the FOOD. My go-to here is an omelet, largely because of all the fix-ins that come with it. This Coconut Grove hotspot has eight different omelet options, or you can make your own. It comes with a side of toast and the most heavenly breakfast potatoes you may ever have in your life.

Lulu in the Grove

Right across the street from GreenStreet is another beloved breakfast joint. At Lulu, they’re serious about their breakfast cocktails and have three different types of mimosas: the standard champagne and OJ, the “after sunrise” made with blood orange juice, and the “manmosa,” which swaps the champagne for rum. They also make two different types of Bloody Mary: a regular bloody, which is made with bacon-infused vodka, or the cool ‘n spicy, made with Effen cucumber vodka. Any drink with cucumber in it gets a thumbs up from me. Can’t decide between coffee and a cocktail? Get the Royal Canadian, an iced latte spiked with Crown Royal.

Lulu also gives you a ton of options for food. The menu has an entire waffles section with eight different types, like red velvet and s’mores. If that doesn’t satisfy your sweet tooth, I don’t know what will.

Palace

No trip to Miami is complete without a drag brunch. Good food, good drinks, good entertainment, what’s not to love? Brunch at Palace is a little more regulated because of the showings. So on Saturdays and Sundays, you can make a reservation for either 11 a.m. or 2 p.m. Their brunch shows are a fixed price and includes an entree and unlimited mimosas. Just make sure to hit the ATM for ample singles beforehand.

Tap 42

Tap 42 knows how to brunch. When you order bottomless mimosas, they won’t just bring you a champagne flute and constantly refill it. Instead they’ll bring you a bucket of ice with a bottle of champagne and a glass of orange juice, so you can put in as much (or as little) OJ as your heart desires. If you’re not feeling bubbly, you can also get a Bloody Mary or Funky Buddha Floridian (local craft beer, it’s SO good). For those who do not take day drinking lightly, Tap 42 also has breakfast shots (I told you they know how to brunch). Their breakfast shot is a shot of Jameson, topped with a slice of bacon and orange juice for chasing. I am not a dark liquor fan, but I am a fan of this shot. The bartender had to talk us into it, but when he says it tastes like eating pancakes, he’s not lying.

Their food options are as wide as they are delicious. To start, you should definitely get the Spicy Tuna Tartare. Hand cut ahi tuna is topped with avocado, cucumber, cilantro, spicy mayo and served atop malango chips to make a yummy seafood snack. Their Spicy Salmon Tostones are similar, I’m just more of a tuna girl. Tap 42’s entrees cover everything from avocado toast to steak and eggs to chocolate banana french toast.

This is a place you should definitely make a reservation for if you don’t want to wait a while. Even five minutes after opening, it’s already packed and there’s a line out the door. Miamians don’t mess around when it comes to brunch.

The Biltmore

Known for its all-you-can-eat-and-drink buffet for $90, the Biltmore’s iconic Sunday brunch is now a la carte due to Covid. The new menu comes with a number of options for a first, second and third course, including osso bucco, lobster tagliolini, and a dessert board. While it’s definitely not the same, it’s still more than enough food. And the bottomless options include mimosas, bellinis, Bloody Marys, and red and white wine.

The Rusty Pelican

The Rusty Pelican is the go-to brunch place to celebrate special events — and for good reason: The views of the Miami skyline are unparalleled. But the scenery isn’t the only thing that’s good here. I highly recommend the crab huevos rancheros or the egg and bacon sandwich. The huevos rancheros has a sunny side up egg, crab, a pinto bean and jalapeño puree, organic tomato salsa and cotija cheese stacked on top of blue corn tortillas. While an egg and bacon sandwich may sound super basic, it also has tomato and avocado and comes with a yummy crema that they pour over it.

They offer four different types of mimosas — signature orange, lavender activated charcoal lemonade, fresh cucumber and mint, and jalapeño — and you can mix and match them all for $25. I’ll spare you the time of trying all four: Go for the jalapeño. It’s so delicious I could drink it all day. The charcoal one was honestly disappointing. It looked cool because it’s black, but it tastes like a regular mimosa. If you’re not into spicy drinks, then do the cucumber and mint or signature orange.

Now that you’re probably starving and craving a mimosa (like I am), get your brunch squad together to eat and drink the day away. Cheers!
